Just having a dream is enough of a reason to try, even if you’re not sure you’ll succeed. That’s the moral of our story, because when we dreamed of creating a better soap, we didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. But a few years later, what do you know? Karolina Kuklińska-Kosowicz, the creative half of the husband-and-wife duo behind YOPE, has been named one of Glamour’s 2018 Women of the Year in recognition of her role in creating the YOPE brand vision and market success.
Every year, the Glamour editorial board recognises women who inspire others through their passion and prove that following your gut plus hard work are the best recipe for success. The other recipients of this year’s Glamour Woman of the Year title are actress Joanna Kulig (for her exceptional work), model Anja Rubik (for her #sexedpl initiative), trainer Kasia Bigos (for promoting a body positive philosophy) and blogger/stylist Areta Szpura (for her charismatic activism). Being part of such a distinguished group is more than an honour for Karolina, it’s proof that YOPE really is a force of change in making natural ingredients, engaging design and ethical business an aspirational market standard in Poland.
In addition to the award there was also a lavish awards ceremony at Warsaw’s Centre for Contemporary Art at the Ujazdowski Castle. On this special night, surrounded by celebrities, our team got to experience a fairy tale evening. See? Dreams really do come true!
